Day 41 - Good Company

I picked up my mom from work and had a nice chat about how she has been getting so much support from her coworkers. At home it was good to see my mom still cracking jokes and being humorous. I went to Wal-Mart to go buy new phones for the house and saved myself from a cool, but needless accessory for my room. I’m trying to not go on impulse buys and trying to buy more clothes instead (as if i have enough room for that back home).
Went to Phil’s Bbq with Alexis and Julie. Haven’t really ate so much since I got that stomach flu, but it felt right to get some of that. After they dropped me off home I watched tv with mom, the usual 7 o’clock game show lineup. Parents started heading up to bed around 10pm and chatted it up with mother dearest until she started feeling sleepy.
