Day 22 - Spin CycleJanuary 22, 2012
Bought groceries and other essentials in the morning. While pops cooked I went to the laundromat since our dryer broke. Couldn’t find parking at the one near Montgomery so went to the one in National City near Seafood City. My dad said I should have went to another one, but I just went to what was familiar.
Auntie Violet came over to help out with laundry, but more importantly to check up on how I was doing with everything going on. She told me that she knows it’s hard to have a parent with cancer. Telling me that not to think too much about what is going and to focus on my studies since she will be helping out my mom whenever she can. I like how she has takes care of her, kind of helps that she is a nurse. I know she is in good hands during the week. Much love and appreciation for what she does for our family.
After church got my stuff together and headed to the hospital to see mom. Her fever went down, so that’s good. We watched American Idol and it was cool to see that they showed the San Diego auditions. After the show, said good night and went on my way back to La Jolla.
Finishing the night with some moscato and ghirardelli dark chocolate while I do my readings for music class.
