Day 118 - April 27, 2012
First Bear Garden

• I thought I was going to be home alone this weekend, but Kuya James is going to spend the night for the weekend
• Went to my first Bear Garden after a day in the lab
• I actually had a data meeting for lab, but since Yasmeen suggested different times we could meet I decided on the latest one so that I can go. The reason Louise wouldn’t be able to make the additional meeting was also because of Bear Garden. It’s kind of a tradition for her to go. It was funny  how we left our lab meeting as soon as it was over. 
• So Bear Garden with Karen, Christine, and Dennis. Free pizza, beer, and kettle corn. Horrible horrible beer! Got excited for that for nothing. Dennis had something better before we got ours. I saw Michael, one of my roommates from first year, and got rid of my beer by giving it to him. 
• Back to the VMRF for data meeting and didn’t leave until 7:30pm
• Kuya James and Sophia came over. Kuya was going to spend the night for the weekend since there was PCC and a Newman event during the weekend.  and as they were talking about their evening they noticed I have not eaten yet. We almost went out for dinner with Karen and Christine, but I really wanted El Zarape. 
• We went to El Zarape for my late dinner. I noticed I haven’t been eating beef too often and I’ve had a lot of sodium this week, so I got the veggie burrito which turned out to be super delicious. 
• Sophia didn’t want the night to end, so we decided on going to Le Stat’s since it was close by and I have not been there before. Yelp lists their ambiance as hipster
• For the longest time I could not decide what to get. I got 2 drinks since I remembered I wasn’t too fond of coffee. Sophia loved my first drink. We were all catching up and it was good to see Kuya James again and it was nice to actually hang out with Sophia instead of seeing each other on the bus or in  line at Rubio’s

Day 117 - April 26, 2012
Cabin in the Woods Round 2

• I was very confused in class today since our usual seats were taken. I went back and forth from one side to the other trying to look for seats right next to each other. All of sudden these people want to sit at that particular area. Shouldn’t it be known where people seat now after this many weeks of the quarter. I had a feeling we had a quiz too and the feeling was on point.
• Actually did some studying after class before heading to lab. Conversation didn’t go as I’d hope in the library, but it might be better the way it went.
• Lunch at The Loft with Matt. So much good food and the girl hooked it up for happy hour price since she knew Matt. Had some good talks with Matt and why was this the first time we had lunch together? Stuff like this should have happened more often. 
• The one weekend I stay up in La Jolla, my roommates go on a trip to Arizona. Alone for 3 nights and 4 days.
• Cabin in the Woods round 2!! Such a good movie

Day 116 - April 25, 2012
This is San Diego

• Matinee to watch American Reunion. We were the only ones in the theater
• Actually turned out to be a nice day. Thought it was going to rain, but it was pretty humid. Thank you confusing San Diego weather.
• Walked around Sea Port Village
• Took pictures of the city from the India St. bridge. Finally got my picture of this!
• Phil’s BBQ for some onion rings and baked beans
• Fail at PS2 Mortal Kombat game so we just played UMvC3 and MKvsDC 

Day 114 - April 23, 2012
Change up on routines

• Sounds like my homework thesis was legit from the feedback I got from my group
• Decided to catch up on some school work. I was planning on being in Geisel until STARboard meeting until the fire alarm went off. Initially, everyone had surprised and confused looks on their faces and many continued on doing what they were doing. It gave me a chance to use the emergency exits. I don’t know why people didn’t use those. 
• Random craving for a burger. My decision to go out and get a burger was left on George if he was free to hang. Burger Lounge it was…and then gelato hah
• In music class today it was useless for me to have went. I should have at least left after the break so I can study for my psych midterm

Day 115 - April 24, 2012
Grad Nite 

• Visit from George in the morning since his class was cancelled. I was actually productive this morning and got up early
• Studying for psych midterm and I was feeling somewhat apathetic about the exam. The tea and dark chocolate truffle didn’t help me stay awake. Changed up the study environment by going to the Cross. Melissa and Kamilah were there too and looks like we were all on the same boat with how we felt about the exam
• The exam was really straightforward and I think I could have actually done a lot better if I actually focused on studying. Go figure…
• No practicum since we cancelled it due to PCC runthroughs
• Went with Maria to Grad Nite at the bookstore to see all the deals on graduation packets. Didn’t know how expensive it was to graduate.

Day 113 - April 22, 2012
Searching for Sisig

• After mass Danika and I were on our way to National City for some sisig fries while we catch up
• We head over to Zarlito’s and looked really dark and empty there. First time setting foot at that place and I was reminded on how my mom said that it wasn’t good there. Turns out sisig fries stops serving at 2pm. On to the next
• Now on to CV’s tapex and fail on our search since they ran out of sisig fries. So we just caught up over boba. We got a lot going on haha
• After I dropped off stuff at George’s I headed to biomed to do homework and study. 
• I think I spent way too much time than necessary on my music homework. I should have just studied for something else.
• Plans to watch a movie at the theaters suddenly came up so I finished up and went to go pick up George.
• Movies didn’t happen since I got really really hungry and American Reunion was going to start soon and I didn’t want theater food or buy food before the movie. Irritably hungry and irritable I was. I just wanted to eat.
• Instead we stayed in to have a movie night and watched American Pie 2.

• Family from Mira Mesa brought over some Hans & Harry

April 20, 2012

• Getting breakfast at Jamba Juice and Daily Bagel
• I don’t think I was meant to have oatmeal this week. Yesterday the Jamba Juice oatmeal machine on campus was not working and this morning they were only able to fill half of the cup since they were running out. Well they gave my money back for it. 
• I spend so much time in the office on Fridays and I still feel like there’s so much left to do once I leave
• Got a chicken satay burrito on my way down south when I was going home home
• Dad is sick and mom is having side effects from chemo, but all seems well back home other than that. Krispy Kreme donuts in the kitchen waiting for me hah yes! 

Day 110 - Food and Films
April 19, 2012 

• After class headed to PC for another successful tanghalian. I don’t normally like ube ice cream, but that purple stuff was soo good.
• I was still sore today. I should have done a good stretch last night
• Walked around campus trying to look for a computer lab with SPSS so that I wouldn’t have to go to the VA to make the database for the OCD study. Ended up going to the VA anyway
• Workshop planning with Melissa and then home to rest
• Read a chapter then pants hunting at UTC with George then off to the movies
• Movie night - “The Cabin in the Woods”
• So much popcorn!
• That was actually a really good movie
• Studio Diner for late dinner and found a surprise in our drinks…a bug in George’s water and then later on there was a wing in mine. Food wasn’t even all that great this time

Day 109 - Making it to the top
April 18, 2012

• Mt. Woodson trails hike with George in the morning. That hike was intense. We did an extra 2 miles because we didn’t know that we could have just went around the lake
• My left hand was swelling up as we hiked down the trail and I was of course freaking out. I thought I got an allergic reaction to something and was so hoping that nothing happened.
• Sooo sooooore when we finally reached my car!
• Stopped at Albertson’s and the pharmacist told me that my swollen hand was a result from a change in elevation and blood pressure. As soon as she said that my hand started feeling normal. Hahs
• Spam musubi after hike and I guess something was up with us since all the workers started laughing when we went in and ordered. If they only knew how much it all hurts
• Fashion Valley and then failed drive to garlic cheese fries nearby
• Niban dinner to end the night

Day 108 - A Softer Shade of Blue
April 17, 2012

• Tuesdays are now my busiest day of the quarter, and so I stayed in bed for a good 3 hours instead of working out or going in early to work.
• I thought I was going to be late for class since the time online said that the shuttle was going to come in 15 minutes. I decided to get out of line and just drive to campus instead of being late. As I was walking towards the crosswalk the shuttle comes right around the corner.
• 5 minutes late for class and class hasn’t even started yet.
• Unexpected quiz! Good thing it’s only graded as participation points
• Farmer’s market are one of the highlights of my Tuesdays because of all the food. Decided to get a chicken curry plate at RED instead of only getting their sambusas. Finished it off with a tamale and then off to work.
• Funny how Mel and I were trying to get someone’s number since she forgot to ask and we just found her work number by googling her. 
• Tried to prepare for practicum since I was gonna be running it solo tonight.
• Late for class and had to sit on the floor.
• First time running practicum alone.
• Excited for tomorrow!!

Day 107 - Theanine
April 16, 2012 

• I think I was over doing my workout this morning because I started getting dizzy and nauseated halfway in
• Drove to campus because I didn’t want to be late. Second time this quarter I have to pay for parking
• Discussion class was interesting. At least the people in my group are easy to talk too. I just think it’s kind of lame how discussion class is being structured.
• 2 hours turned into 3 at the office
• Went home after to chill before board meeting
• Class just goes on for long. At least it got interesting towards the end
